Scan any card with the scanner (the card does not have to be attached to a member record).
If the card is not attached to a member record then the message “Unknown Scan: ‘XXXX’” should appear. This indicates that GateKeeper has detected the card scan.
If the card is attached to a member record then the member’s info should appear. This indicates that GateKeeper has matched the barcode to a member’s record.
Note: If either “Unknown Scan: ‘XXXX’” or a member record shows up after the scan, your scanner is set up and working properly.
